Morning Spy: Waiting On The FOMC (JVA, TZOO, HTM, KMX, ZX, AAPL, RIMM, YHOO)

The markets opened mildly lower on Wednesday. The weakness might be attributed to a response to Greece’s confidence vote, which took place last night. Another reason for the markets lackluster start could be cautiousness around potential comments from the FOMC meeting finishing today.

Today’s Top tickerspy Indexes:

Coffee Stocks (up 1.5%, see graph): The Index continues to perform well as a whole, up 19% over the last month. A major contributor to this is Coffee Holding Company (JVA), which has skyrocketed higher by more than 100% over the last month.

Dotcom Travel Stocks (up 1.3%, see graph): Shares of Travelzoo Inc (TZOO) are leading the Index higher today after Benchmark raised its price target on the stock to $124 and reiterated its buy rating.

Geothermal Stocks (up 1.3%, see graph): The Index is performing well as a whole, with not one stock in the red. Leading the Index higher are shares of U.S. Geothermal Inc. (HTM)

Auto Dealer Stocks (up 1.3% today, see graph): The Index is being led by CarMax (KMX), which reported earnings of 55 cents per share, topping analysts estimates of 47 cents per share. The Chinese Auto Parts Stocks Index is also having a good day. Shares of China Zenix Auto (ZX) are leading the Index on average volume.
