FBR Capital's Craig Berger does a little housekeeping this morning on National Semiconductor (NSM) and Atheros (ATHR), which are both getting bought out, but the overall conclusion is more interesting. I updated my position on TXN earlier and advised that it was a PUT for Oct. but I didn't give a reason. The put buy was placed a month ago when they announced their new purchase. Immediately following several of the officers sold large blocks of shares at the price at that time. Think they paid too much for this purchase. Review insider trading to see what I am talking about. Could be a coincidence on those sales but I don't think so.
