BankUnited, Inc. (the “Company”) (NYSE: BKU) today announced financial results for the quarter and year ended December 31, 2012. For the quarter ended December 31, 2012, the Company reported net income of $62.5 million, or $0.61 per diluted common share, as compared to $41.3 million, or $0.41 per diluted share, for the quarter ended December 31, 2011.
