I look at both short and long term investment opportunities, however I mostly trade, so look for the short run. Keeping in mind you are looking in the long run, FCX makes a lot of sense. It is definitely best of breed, and demand for copper and other metals will only go up from here..emerging markets etc. I simply felt the buying in commodities and the respective companies was overdone in the past few months, but they will return to new highs in the future. What are your thoughts on the general strength of emerging markets and how that will affect demand for metals.

I am curious what the theory behind owning FCX is? The commodities seem to be rolling over very fast and FCX is getting pummeled. Do you think this trend will reverse, because I thought the general sentiment was that commodity prices were in a bubble.
