Hi AJ, Thanks for reaching out. Always enjoy discussing trading and trading ideas. I'm a purely technical trader so my interest in ANX was purely technical and is based on the reason for most of the purchases in my portfolio: volatility. This year and this portfolio has been an exercise in volatility trading and risk/reward management. It has paid off well because of 2 things: 1) I never get deeply involved in the story of the individual stocks, only the volatility profile of the entire group of low priced stocks, and 2) I make sure winners are not closed until they are trading at least 2 times the initial risk (which has to be wide due to the erratic nature of low priced stocks). The most difficult thing has been detaching from news, holding through large gains and letting go of what I think should happen. In the case of ANX, it was part of a group of stocks that were traded because of recent sell climaxes on large volume. After such a move, when all of the panic selling has dried up you can get very volatile upside moves. If you enter at periods of low volatility you can get a pretty good risk reward ratio. But as can often happen, you'll get a small rise and then a drop back to the original downtrend. I believe this may be happening with ANX. Other times you get a rush higher which is what you had with BBI which I just closed for a 100% gain in less that a month. So I'm really just trading a technical profile rather than a company and ANX fit that profile. I'm looking for a target in the .40 - .50 area. Best of luck with your trade.
